How it Started

MomentumNetwork began with a simple goal...

"Make every minute spent meeting people feel like time well spent."

With years of running and attending large expos and formal gatherings across the US and Canada, founder Paul Hawkins saw a better way.

A way with smaller, industry‑exclusive groups where conversations have purpose, seats are curated, and members can build on connections made at Chambers, BNI, and larger events.

That focus grew into Business Boosters and Growth Alliance, plus casual Coffee Chats, Happy Hours, and cultural partnerships that bring people together in welcoming spaces where ideas flourish.

Paul Hawkins, Founder, Director, CEO

With over three decades of experience in the nonprofit sector, I have dedicated my career to fostering leadership, community engagement, and organizational growth. Most recently, I served as Membership Manager at the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, where I collaborated with local businesses to help them unlock their full potential through Chamber resources and strategic networking opportunities.

Theresa Horak, Administrative Assistant

With over 20 years of bookkeeping experience, I’m passionate about balancing financial accuracy with exceptional client service. My expertise spans bookkeeping, financial analysis, accounting management, back-office support, grant writing, business research, and strategic planning, ensuring businesses not only stay on track but thrive.

Gina Monaco, Mastermind Facilitator

Gina Monaco is a seasoned Mortgage Broker and Team Lead at TMG The Mortgage Group in Dundas, Ontario, with over a decade of expertise in communications and client service. A certified Jack Canfield Trainer and McMaster University alumna, Gina also shines as the lead vocalist for The Enablers, a high-energy party band performing across Southern Ontario. She is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals and bringing people together through the power of music and community.

Lori is a dynamic and innovative business leader with over 30 years of experience in business development, financial strategy, and process optimization. As a seasoned Business Developer and Consultant, she specializes in guiding professionals through successful project initiatives, including digital transformation, real estate investing, and scaling operations. Her expertise in raising capital, enhancing CRM systems, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements has consistently driven sustainable growth and streamlined workflows.

Stephanie van Dam, Mentor Program Facilitator

Stephanie van Dam is the owner of Sandler Training by Clydesdale Performance Management with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building high-performing teams. With over 20 years of experience, Stephanie specializes in supply chain and channel sales strategies, as well as cultivating strong customer relationships. She is also the sole female Sandler franchise owner in Canada, a distinction that reflects her leadership and pioneering spirit. Stephanie is driven by a passion for helping others master sales, elevate customer service, and excel as leaders.

Jody Eagan, Mentor Program Facilitator

Jody has influenced thousands of business professionals through coaching, training and consulting. He has worked with individuals and groups to improve their personal and business results.
